Through the years I have been involved in giving back to my community. Some of the groups I have been involved in over the years include SF Food Pantry, Peace Action West, West Marin Environmental Action Commitee, La Casa de Las Madres, Golden Gate Regional, Planned Parenthood, Harvey Milk Club, World Wildlife Fund, Huckleberry House, Larkin Street Youth, Saint Vincent De Paul, Junior League SF, The Arc, Greenpeace, The Sierra Club, Goodwill, Temple Emanuel, CYO, Dancers Group, AIDS Housing Alliance, & Aids Dance Athon. I believe we are all here to help one another. I often march & stand for equal rights, animal rights, women's rights, domestic worker rights, housing rights & many other social causes. For 25 years my philosophy has been food is our medicine. I have been dedicated to organic, non-GMO, sustainable food sources. My great grand father was one of the founding members of the famed New York Vatel Club. Now known as the American Culinary Federation. He was the head patisier on the sister ship to the Titanic. My great grandmother was also in the culinary arts in New York. Divine destiny would find me embracing my role as chef de cuisine. I take farm to table very seriously & encourage all of my clients to cultivate an edible garden in any environment. As an environmentalist, humanitarian, artist, yogi & chef I bring my passion to every event. Through the years I have had the pleasure of working with top chefs, Michelin star chefs, Munchery, film crews Hollywood and Bollywood. These experiences have provided me with the discipline to assist those healing from cancer, transitioning into hospice, or into remedation. I have many success stories where food has been at the core of their rebound. Children love to make bread with me and at private parties I enjoy breaking bread with a wide variety of guests.
On land, air, & sea there is no terrain I have not cooked in or entertained. From toddler to grand dame no palette is too picky for my panettone. As I strive to excel in my field I can only do so with the knowledge that my work will encourage others to pursue their dreams. Growing up I have known the pain of poverty and may we all work to provide for those who only need a helping hand. Together we can all do our part to change each others lives for the best!
